Strike Hard

A tabletop roleplaying game about karateka teens standing up for themselves against bullies and concerned parents. Using the Caltrop Core system by https://titanomachyrpg.itch.io/. For 2-4 players. 

Each character has three stats that represent their connection to their lives:

Training: Knowledge you've picked up from the dojo and your sensei.

Friends: What have you learned from your peers and how close you are to each other.

Family: Your connections and obligations to your family.

When attempting an action that is important to your character, you can roll a pool of d4s equal to your stat. Any successes is a Strike, a successful move against your opposition. But rolls aren't the only way to Strike--you can also spend your stats to earn Strikes. Reducing a stat to 0 triggers dramatic moves to change the narrative.
