La Lechuza is a legend of deep south Texas. It is a witch. It is a devil. It is a spirit. Whatever it really is, la Lechuza is a supernatural being that preys on those out in the dark. But it is not the only danger in the Rio Grande Valley. White settlers exploit and endanger the Mexican American residents as they attempt to gain control of the land. Can you survive the night?

Version 1 of Quieren tu Sangre  contains the scenario playbook for La Matanza of 1915. During the Mexican Revolution, the Rio Grande Valley suffered terrible losses as the white settlers branded nearly everyone "banditos" and seditionists. As married ranchers, you brave the night searching for your missing son. Future versions will have the following eras added: the 1950s and the 2020s.

Inspired by QuietusQuieren tu Sangre is a game of melancholy horror for 2-3 players.

Content Warning: The first scenario contains the possibility of physical, racial, and sexual violence. Child harm is also implied. None of these are required to play game, however. I highly suggest using the TTRPG Safety Toolkit by Kienna Shaw and Lauren Bryant-Monk to help determine the lines for your groups. Horror is meant to disturb the audience, but it doesn't have to make them feel unsafe.

NOTE:  I chose to highlight violent moments of Mexican American history in order to better analogize the violent oppression residents faced (and continue to face) when their lives are put up against white supremacist capitalist patriarchy.
